Macaron : the Princess of desserts


Macaron, as we know, the dessert made from almond powder, sugar, and egg white. We have French macaron and Italian macaron which has different look and taste, so as the making method.
Before we choose the course, let's understand the difference between them.

1. Italian macaron which has a little crispy skin at the surface of cookie, and after a bite we can touch the chewiness of inside cookie, less shiny outside than the French macaron, but less sweet too. Overall, it is popular among pastry chef who want the consistency of making everytime and get the same result.

2. French macaron has more crispy than the Italian one, sweet and intense taste, as well as flavour, shiny shell, made from the French merinque. Sensitive and must be eaten within a few day after making.
